[You Love This Movie]

Epic!

Hi guys,

There are so many submissions on NG every day, thatfor a User that just pops in once in a weekto to separate the wheat from the chaff.
In the past some really half-assed cartoons made it on the frontpage and after watching them, they did not really left a permanent impression.
Your movie was different. I laughted my frickin ASS off!

The idea of making a Film about making a Film for NG is quite old. And the "crap movie party" was a SUPER rip of from Tomorrows Nobodies!!
But, hey man: I am a musician and I can tell you, the way of inspirating yourself and creating something new & original, means to deal with already extisting things - to alter and combine them, and finally to develope a OWN personal style.
GOOD WORK! :-D

To be fair, I should not only mention what i liked, but also what i disliked:

(my personal) CONs:
- in the first minutes, the actions and jokes build up quite dull. It's too long in my opinion.
- your Voice acting is okay but if you intend to make more movies like this, I think you should get better recording equipment.

Crap movie party? I actually don't watch TM. I think I saw one episode and some mail segment that was.... ick. But we were aware that people have done the whole film of a film thing, but we really liked our story. When we were making the base of it we were literally laughing our asses off at the whole idea.

- The first few minutes were a bit slow, but we wanted to make everything happen for a reason and to do that means a plot needs to develop.

- We both have gotten new mics since recording these voices oh-so long ago.

It looks like you have the sassieness to submitt just ONE scene...

If a musician would publish 1 note as a whole song it would be just the same.... WAY TOO LESS!!!

apart from that:

-good animation style...very fluent
-the only sound was *ouumph!*
-you ripped foo fighter... hell knows why

In my opinion NG doesn't need half assed flash movies like this. But don't take this personal. Go write a story..maybe add some dialoge (or even jokes). Then make another movie and I maybe will give you a better score then

Rip foo fighters? When? I like that song and it worked well with the animation.

Oh and i do write storys, Go find Thwomps by Psycosis91. Script written and voice actor. This was just a little something i tried on my own.

Zerg looked much better this time. ;)

But:

-work on the expolsions
-get some more voice actors
-dont make damaged carriers sound like hijacked cars xD

My voice actor ended up getting drunk with me rather than doing voices, and I couldn't be bothered waiting to have him over again to upload it since it was done heh - my bad! Had a great night though and he wouldn'tve come over otherwise lol. I'm meaning to indulge my hobby and get flash8 so I can have sexier special effects in future movies too - I used png's in this one which I dislike using.

Well, there are some problems in this that you should never repeat again...

1: An animation consists of more than one frame. When you animate something, the framerate should be higher and there should be more frames to create a smoother motion. You can do that or use tweens. Don't just create a one frame loop.

2: Almost noone likes penor humor anymore. If you want to stick with that, then fine. But put something more than a pic of the ex-Führer.

3: Have some actual thought behind your Flash. Sounds, humor, action, anything would've been an improvement.

4: Put alot of time in your work. Anyone can do something so boring within a minute's time, so noone would want to see something that anyone can make without using any real skill.

Youre not only unable to make good flash movies, but also to read my reviews properly:

"The other 27 version i saw yesterday was more realistic..."

Your response:

"If looking at dead bodies is how you get your fix, then go do it. Just don't talk to me about it."

BTW: I have not seen the original astronaut cop... is it worth looking !?

Well the original astronaut cop is funny it has some funny dialogue in it. But the ending that you saw in this version is different from the original when Rigshaw says, "so me and jackie were dancing last night." where mine said "fucking." and the character actually says that celsius is colder than feirenheit which is incorrect. but check it out to see for yourself. thanks for the review.
